When in 1957 my grandfather, Joseph-Louis Bonvin, decided to buy the Pension Beau-Site, he had no idea that in 2024 his grandson would be running it under the name of Art de Vivre.

HISTORY

The story begins with my Aunt Blanche's illness. A nurse by profession, she suffered from rheumatism that prevented her from working. At the age of 67, my grandfather decided to buy the Beau-Site boarding house and run it with his wife Augustine and daughter Blanche.

In 1972 my parents, Prosper and Thérèse Bonvin, took over the management of the hotel, where they made hospitality their top priority. The building dated from 1929, and had to be modernized over the years.

When my father died in 1992, I returned from the USA to help my mother run the hotel. In December 2006, with my wife Séverine, we added an additional wing to our establishment, including a spa and restaurant, changing the name to Art de Vivre. This epic story earned us a series on TSR, , which you can watch again HERE.

Three generations of Bonvins have welcomed you to Le Beau-Site and L'Art de Vivre since 1957, and there may well be a4th, so who knows, see you soon.
